.tif files get errors

Description

Importing .tif files produced by VistaScan (supplied with Umax scanners) and by PhotoDeluxe (and perhaps others) produce the errors "Unknown field with tag 317 (Ox13d) ignored" (for example), and "Invalid tiff directory: tags not sorted in ascending order". Corel PhotoPaint doesn't complain about them, but if you use that program to resave them, The Panorama Factory reads them without a problem.

Workaround

Just press enter (as many times as necessary per image), and the problem goes away. You have to repeat this again when you first save the project, then it's ok after that.
