I am using this program to create a composite image of a sediment core. essentially looking to stitch high resolution sections together to make an archival quality image. when i run a cylindrical projection without exposure correction, the final image has a stark gradient of dark to light, from left to right. can't seem to get a handle on this. all original photos have exactly the same lighting and exposure. any help? |

I'd suggest you try turning off both Exposure Matching and Exposure Correction. For more information, read http://www.panoramafactory.com/help/help.html?p=hid_learn_darklight.html Your issue sounds a little different from the ones described there, but I'm pretty certain that turning off both options will remove the brightness gradient. With both options off, The Panorama Factory will leave the brightness and color balance of your original images unchanged.
