Question from a newbie:
I want to creat QTVR for web use. Is it possible to take stitched output from Panorama Factory into Photoshop for tweaking/enhancing/color correction and then back into PF for Quicktime MOV output?

I ask because I have been using PS for a long time now and can make it do whatever I want it to do.

Any suggestions appreciated.

The original answer to this question applies only to V1 and V2 of The Panorama Factory. For the V3 answer, refer to the forum article How to modify the final image in photoshop.
It is not really possible to intervene in the stitching process as you describe. The Panorama Factory is designed to control all aspects of the computation from image import to QTVR output.

On the other hand, The Panorama Factory itself contains tools for adjusting, enhancing and color correcting images. If these tools are inadequate for your purposes, my suggestion would be that you perform these tasks before importing the images into The Panorama Factory.

John,

Thanks for the prompt response. I kind of figured that was the case.

The other thing I had wanted to do was to be able to add text for labels in the resulting panorama. (I've seen some panoramas of mountains where they label the peaks, for instance.)

Thanks for the help with the newbie questions. I'm just trying to get a handle on this stuff.

Starting in V3 of The Panorama Factory, it is possible to export the stitched image, edit with another program, re-import the image and save as QTVR.

Step-by-step instruction are provided in the forum article How to modify the final image in photoshop.
