Heres a few suggestions for those having problems (as I did initially) with printing on large format paper...firstly it just wont work under Win98 - the Epson driver has limited dimensions. However under XP/2K you can go up to 32.9 cm high x just over 3 m wide.
These comments apply to both PanoFactory 3 & PhotoShop 7 print settings.

For PS7 - go to Page Setup, set User Defined, Roll Paper No Margin, Landscape (margins are greyed out on mine, but set back to 8 if you can)

go to Printer, 1290, Properties, Premium Glossy paper, Colour ink, I have custom settings for PremGlossy1440sRGB, tick Print Preview

go to Paper tab, Paper should be Roll, User Defined, Landscape, Banner Mode, Save Paper.

go to User Defined, D Click for settings - this is crucial bit: Im printing landscape on Super A3 roll, so my "Width" is set to 3290 (32.9 cm). I then have to experiment a bit until I get paper length ("height") about right (was 7500 - 0.75 m for a recent print) - I usually flick back to Print Preview a few times to get it right.
OK OK OK

go to Print with Preview & check picture. Scale to Media box is left ticked but no other changes are made here.
Then go to Print & again check Preview, if OK, hit the big green button.

Printing setup from within PanoFactory is similar. Just check Image, Properties & enter print height (32.9) first.

Then go to Page Setup etc as above - I can also alter margins there and there is a setting for Fit Page I select. Otherwise the sequence is identical.

If you are really pushed or cant work this out, try opening the pano in MS Paint (XP, not 98) and use it's 1x1 page setting to print. Again the rest of the sequence is identical.
Hope this helps

I am trying to get some information on how to clean the underside of my epson 1290 printer head. Is there any way you can give me a discription or diagram on how to do so.
I have got the top off but cant find the hidden screws

I have been just importing the documents into InDesign and printing from there with great results.
