The kind of curving that you are seeing is an unavoidable result of the warping that is required to make the images fit together smoothly.

To change the final image to have conventional perspective (straight lines are straight), you would need to use something like the Perspective plugin for Photoshop. The Panorama Factory V3.1 does not yet have this type of processing. This may be added in a future version, but it is not available now.

There really isn't any way to eliminate the panoramic curving effect for images wider than about 120 degrees field of view. This may not be a problem for you if you are only stitching 3 images, but when you have a sufficiently wide panorama, even a perspective correction will not work.

See the FAQ section Panoramic image 'distortion' for more on the subject of panoramic image curving.

Thanks for this. Can you recommend a Photoshop perspective plug-in for this use? There are various ones on the market.
PS. Panorama factory is an excellent product, better than either of the two rivals I've used.

I had this problem too with a warped image with only three stiched images.

For a quick fix, I simply created a partial QuickTime-movie in Panorama Factory 3.1 of the panorama and viewed it in QuickTime. The resulting image was correct in perspective and a simple screencapture of the QuickTime player window was in my case good enough in quality.
