I am not able to get the IVR file to work with the MGI plugin. Is there a bug in the IVR file that Panorama creates? I have checked file names etc and that is fine. The plugin loads on my machine but does not load from my server.
Thanks

I am not aware of any problems with the IVR files generated by The Panorama Factory.

There isn't enough information in the original posting to diagnose this problem. Please submit problems through the trouble reporting system or through email to support@panoramafactory.com rather than submitting to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). This way I can request additional information if needed to solve the problem.

As it turns out, this user's problem was not caused by The Panorama Factory.

After creating the panoramic image with The Panorama Factory, he used the dodge tool in Photoshop to lighten darker parts of the JPEG image.

For reasons that are not clear, the MGI Zoom Viewer had trouble with the JPEG file written by Photoshop. Importing this image back into The Panorama Factory and re-saving it corrected the problem.

So, if you have trouble with an IVR panorama created by The Panorama Factory, be sure you have not post-processed the JPEG image with some other image processing application.

I've recently upgraded my web server to Windows 2003. Since doing that, my ivr files seem to no longer work. I've been told to go to the control panel for IIS 6 and allow the IVR file to run... in doing so, it asks what files are needed to run and IVR file. Which is ultimately what my question is - what files do I need to allow to run to handle an IVR file?

The answer depends upon which version of the IVR viewer you are using. There are three versions--a plugin (for Netscape) and ActiveX control (for Explorer) and the Java viewer (which works with both). Installation instructions are given at Installing support for IVR on your computer.

Please remember, however, that the IVR viewer and the Windows web server are products of other companies, iSeeMedia and Microsoft, respectively. If you need further assistance that is specific to the interaction between these products, you may find it helpful to consult online documentation or other customer support resources at iSeeMedia and Microsoft.
