I just installed Panorama Factory and it works very well, but when I press the "Print preview ..." button the application is frozen. I have to kill it with the Task Manager.
Does anybody know why this is happening?

Thanks in advance.

Christian

Hi Christian,

Thanks for reporting this. I think I know what is causing it. If I am right, I can give you a workaround.

I believe this problem happens only in the Windows Editions, not in the Mac Edition. I will try to fix it in the next release (V5.1).

The application does not actually freeze. The problem is that the Print preview window is displayed underneath the main window. In other words, the main window covers the preview window. But the main window is waiting for the preview window to finish, so it appears to be frozen.

Workaround

The workaround is to bring the Print preview window on top of the main window. You can do this using the Windows task bar. The Print preview window may have its own button on the task bar like this:

Print preview, separate task bar button

or, if there are a lot of things on the task bar, it may be combined with The Panorama Factory's button, in which case you have to click the The Panorama Factory's button to see the Print preview item like this:

Print preview, combined task bar button

Either way, clicking the Print preview item will bring the preview window to the front. Closing the preview window will "unfreeze" The Panorama Factory.

If this doesn't solve the problem, let me know and I'll try harder!
